The Bavarian Octoberfest restaurant opened for business in 2005. This German restaurant in Patong was welcomed with open arms by local German residents and the large numbers of German tourists that visit Phuket each year.
Bavarian Octoberfest can not really be labelled as only a German restaurant as this Patong based restaurant offers more to its clients then only German food and German beer.
The German owners of the Bavarian Oktoberfest had wanted to open a German restaurant in Phuket that would have the same type of atmosphere and fun that visitors at the annual Munich Oktoberfest in Germany encounter.
Considering that Germans are normally not well known for humour,entertainment or excellent cuisine, it proved to be a smart move to recreate the Oktoberfest in Phuket. The Oktoberfest is one of the events which people from all over the world have heard of and would like to visit.
It should come to no surprise to hear that unlike other German restaurants in Phuket and Thailand, the Bavarian Oktoberfest in Patong does get many non-German clients.
Great Atmosphere - German Restaurant Phuket
The atmosphere in the Bavarian Octoberfest German Restaurant is excellent with daily live music from 18:00 pm until the early hours of the morning. The German restaurant in Patong is build in a similar tent shape structure as those use in the original October beer festival in Munich each year. Guests sit along long narrow tables which is also copied from the original Oktoberfest.
